I’m Carlos Robert Estrada, and I’m currently working as a Software Engineer at Vauldex Technologies Inc.
My background is in full-stack development, covering both frontend and backend technologies. Before joining Vauldex, I worked with C# .NET on the backend and the Vue framework on the frontend. During my student years, I gained hands-on experience with embedded systems, which exposed me to both hardware and software and shaped the way I think about building solutions.
I joined Vauldex after coming across a job posting on an online hiring platform. It felt like an opportunity where I could contribute my skills while growing professionally in an environment that aligned with my goals. I’ve always believed that knowledge is power, and that mindset continues to guide me.

At Vauldex, I work on a results management platform for a client in the healthcare sector. My responsibilities include developing and maintaining system features, ensuring smooth functionality, and helping implement enhancements that improve the overall user experience.
Our team works with a flat structure that encourages open communication and shared ownership. We follow an agile workflow, and collaboration happens naturally through discussions, code reviews, and daily alignment. Tools like VS Code, Slack, GitHub, and my MacBook support my daily work. My technical stack includes C# .NET, Nuxt, Spring Boot with Kotlin, TailwindCSS, and Shadcn.
Lessons "Learning through structure, persistence, and early impact"
One of the first challenges I faced was adapting to a complex project that required extensive migration work. Understanding the existing structure took time, and I had to learn quickly to contribute effectively.
I worked through this by analyzing the system carefully and collaborating closely with my teammates. Through discussions, shared best practices, and structured problem-solving, I gradually built confidence. Completing a critical migration early on and seeing the system run smoothly afterward was a meaningful moment for me. The feedback I received reinforced the value of persistence and teamwork.

Since joining Vauldex, I’ve grown the most in front-end development, especially with TailwindCSS. Working on real projects strengthened my understanding of responsive design and UI consistency. I’ve also improved at researching and integrating libraries, which has helped me work more efficiently.
Looking ahead, I hope to deepen my skills in cybersecurity and DevOps. These are essential areas for building secure and scalable systems, and they represent the next steps in my growth. I want to continue contributing to meaningful projects that create real impact.
